Our mission
Strengthening Muslim civic leadership in North Texas
The North Texas Muslim Leadership Alliance (NTMLA) is a private, invitation-only network of Muslim elected officials, policymakers, political leaders, activists, community leaders and other influential voices across the Dallas–Fort Worth region.
The Alliance exists to strengthen Muslim political leadership in North Texas, build meaningful relationships among politically engaged leaders, coordinate around issues and opportunities affecting our community, develop and support emerging leadership, and advance a shared political and civic agenda.
This is a trusted space for candid discussion, strategic collaboration, relationship-building and collective action. Membership is selective and by invitation only.
Our vision
A North Texas where Muslims are fully represented at every level of public life, and where our leaders act in concert, with wisdom and integrity, for the good of the whole community.
How we work
- Gather. Regular, closed-door gatherings where members speak freely and plan together.
- Coordinate. Early information-sharing and aligned responses on issues that affect our community.
- Develop. Mentorship, training and endorsement pathways for emerging leaders.
- Advance. A shared agenda pursued with one voice in city halls, school boards, county courts and Austin.
