Membership
Selective by design. Members are invited on the strength of their record, their integrity and their commitment to the North Texas Muslim community.
Who belongs
A network of established leaders
NTMLA is for Muslims who already carry public responsibility in North Texas, and who want to carry it together.
- Elected & appointed officials serving cities, counties, school districts, courts, boards and commissions across DFW.
- Policymakers & political leaders: party officials, senior staff, strategists and policy professionals.
- Activists & organizers with a record of effective civic work.
- Community & institutional leaders: heads of masajid, nonprofits, professional associations and civic institutions.
- Other influential voices whose participation strengthens the Alliance.
What we ask of members
- Keep the confidence of the room. What is shared in the Alliance stays in the Alliance.
- Show up: to Alliance gatherings, to one another’s events, and when a member needs support.
- Engage in good faith across differences of party, city and approach.
- Act in the collective interest of North Texas Muslims.

Why is membership invitation-only?
Candid discussion requires trust. Keeping membership selective allows members to speak freely, share sensitive information and plan together without concern for how it will be used.

Is the member list public?
No. The Alliance does not publish its membership. Members may choose to identify themselves publicly.
Are there dues?
No. Membership is free.
